SUMMARY:TPHND + Fitfam Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
DESCRIPTION:October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  It’s a month dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of early detection and advocating for improved breast cancer treatment and high-quality care.  \nResearch has found that “1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s one person every 2 minutes in the U.S.” (komen.org).   \nOn Saturday\, October 7th join us in our TPHND + FitFam Breast Cancer Awareness Walk – here at the Church – at 8:30 am (immediately following 1st Saturday Prayer).  \nWe are partnering with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Inc. whose mission is to help those affected by breast cancer through early detection\, education\, and through support services.  \nThroughout the month of October\, we will be sharing information\, encouraging you to get moving – and join us in – #tphndwalks!   \nRegistration is required for all walk participants.
